London International Studies is looking for someone who will be Working closely with the Academic Team, you will carry out internal verification and provide detailed feedback to students to maintain the virtue of the qualification at the highest level. Actively collaborate with other faculty members and lecturers in curriculum design and implementation, student support and continuous program improvement.
Key responsibilities & duties:
- Ensure curriculum, unit plan, lecture plan, assessment plan and assignment brief are up to date.
- Oversee and ensure all classes have relevant learning materials through program review.
- Submit unit files and other deliverables on time to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in periodic program assessment, review, evaluation & survey.
- Maintain and build on industry knowledge; engage in research, and continuing education.
- Creates action plans to make sure that the quality processes are maintained and measured and is kept updated
- Keeps up to date with OTHM requirements and shares with programme leaders
- Liaises with programme leaders to ensure the quality of the courses in every aspect.
1. Academic Qualification that meets regulatory and awarding body requirement with UAE attestations / equivalency (preferred)
2. Has Level 4 IQA qualifications and verifier’s certification
3. Teaching experience in higher education/vocational programs
4. Has proven track record in academics & research.
5. Has a high degree of IT / Business/ Hospitality Management and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology
6. Has Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
7. Has proven leadership skills and have previous experience being a leader in an academic team
