The Hybrid Cloud Storage Product Owner will be part of a team which designs, builds, and operates the global Azure, AWS, and on-premises data centers of Siemens Healthineers (SHS) and provides technical leadership for hybrid cloud technical solutions for business demands.
**Task and Responsibilities**:
- Implement technical storage solutions for on-prem and Cloud for data storage using NAS and SAN technologies
- Solve complex problems in the areas of NetApp data storage and backup technologies both on-prem and in the Cloud
- Lead Operations technical admins for Incident, Change, and Problem resolution
- Assist with enterprise data backup and disaster recovery technology innovations
- Understand the demands of the customer in IaaS area.
- Ability to translate a given requirement to technical requirements
- Conduct product training for internal team and other stakeholders
- Ensure new services can be delivered to businesses seamlessly and meet or exceed customers’ expectations
- Maintain the backlogs and current work items in Azure DevOps for your innovations
- Build working relationships with Siemens Healthineers IT partners and business teams
- Embrace a culture of continuous service improvement and excellence
- Stay current on cloud industry trend in Cloud and storage technologies
- Design, architect, and implement new Product features
**Qualifications**:
- Overall 15+ years’ experience in IT and 10+ years in storage technology implementations
- Strong knowledge of technology and Cloud topics including storage, backup, disaster recovery, networking, file systems across Linux and Windows, and cyber security
- Ability to communicate concerns clearly and effectively, issues to other teams
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Azure, AWS certifications is a plus
- Excellent English language written and spoken skills
**Technical skills**
- Strong knowledge in different Azure IaaS services and platform and with their associated limitations.
- Experience with the implementation of all NetApp Cloud technologies, such as GFC, CVO, and Azure NetApp Files, NetApp BlueXP, NetApp Cloud Insights, NetApp Cloud Sync, NetApp Cloud Data Sense, NetApp Astra, NetApp Cloud Tiering and Cloud Volumes Edge Cache in Azure and AWS Cloud.
- Strong experience with on-premises data center NetApp technologies such as SnapCenter, SnapMirror, and OnTap
- Strong experience with data migrations and replications
- File system protocols such as CIFS and NFS as well as block technologies such as iSCSI
- NetApp hardware and Snap technologies
- OnTap version upgrades and troubleshooting
- Strong data backup engineering skills in a Cloud or virtualized environment
- Experience in Administration using Azure CLI, PowerShell and shell scripting.
- Azure architecture and engineering
- Disaster recovery solution engineering using data replication between data centers and in Azure
- Understanding of Azure/AWS regions and associated high availability concepts like Availability sets, Availability Zones, PPG etc.
- Basic experience in migrating IaaS workloads from on-premises environment to cloud environment or cloud-to-cloud environment
- Familiarity with SAN/NAS, Hyper-V/VMWare, iSCSI is plus
- Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, NAT, DNS
- Familiarity with core OS services such as: SSH, telnet, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP
- Support customer engagements - Work with partners on cloudification strategy
Collaborating with other architects, DevOps Architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless deployment of all solution from development to production
