**Job Profile**:
This role provides HBAP INM COO with dedicated, forward thinking and strategic and operational management support, in a wide ranging ‘Deputy COO’ capacity. This includes (but is not limited) to:

- Management of cross
- DBS activities, including interacting with and influencing the senior executive leadership team, regulators and other external bodies on INM COO’s behalf. Often the activities requested by the INM COO require this role to oversee or lead in execution across DBS.
- Appropriate management of INM COO's regulatory and legal responsibilities.
- Providing management of HSBC’s Operational Management discipline, including leveraging a shared services team to provide efficient and effective Operational Management support to DBS Functions, where this can be provided centrally. This remit also includes the governance and implementation of HSBC’s Policy and Standards Framework in HBAP INM which is under regular critical scrutiny of the regulators, external auditors and any DPA monitor

- Policy & Standards - ensuring any COO Office-issued policies are well managed, communicated and implementation is tracked;
- Risk Management - ensuring all risks in the COO Office are managed in line with Risk’s Operational Risk Management Framework;
- Strategy Execution - ensuring employees understand and contribute to delivering HSBC’s strategy through goals and objectives;
- Sustainability - ensuring all employees consider sustainability in their day to day role and demonstrate actions to support Corporate Sustainability policies and strategies.
- Responsible for the Business Continuity and Incident Management (BCIM)
- Responsible for overseeing the Technology infrastructure, Corporate Real Estate and Operations related requirements at the new set up in the Gift City on behalf of India Operations.

The role holder will have knowledge, skills and experience in the following areas:
