Introduction:
This role will be focused on the Treasury Services area, focussing on providing Oversight and Governance with a controls perspective. This will involve closely working with teams and processes around Issuance Oversight Reporting & analytics, which is part of Treasury Services organisation and is responsible for providing an interactive dashboard to track issuances.

What will you be doing?
- Drive and support activities related to the set-up of the process related to the Issuance of securities, associated controls, measures, and controls specific reporting around the same.
- Support initiatives, and drive delegated activities, to cultivate and maintain an effective control environment and framework for the management the process pertaining to Issuance of securities.
- Use the Issuance dashboard to track different issuances made by the Bank, log, follow-up and track required attestations.
- Work on Issuance related reports / dashboards, project / programme, manage workstreams, and present at relevant meetings.
- Coordinate control assessments as part of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) or other control assessment initiatives.
- Drive and coordinate the refresh of associates standards and control procedures.
- Coordinate control remediation activities, including monthly progress tracking meetings with issue and action owners, data management aspects, and other items related to risk / control frameworks.
- Establish and maintain an effective network of stakeholders and partners across multiple locations and functions.
- Update Governance Calendar and other items that may be required for managing / executing the book of work.
- Identify process and controls improvement opportunities.
- Interpret the MI demands and ensure MI is provided on a consistent, regular and reliable basis. Play a support role in anticipating any future MI needs across Treasury and help to establish infrastructure required to service such requests.

What we’re looking for:

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- A self-starter, driven and curious.
- Experience in Governance and Controls around business process, Control assessments and process improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Degree educated and/or a professional finance qualification e.g. CFA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA, FRM or local equivalents.
- Experience in Finance / Banking domain.
- Strong data analysis skills (including MS Excel).

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience working in a control function or in audit.
- Experience working in a treasury function and / or in a bank or financial services institution.
- Experience in any or multiple areas across Governance, Controls, Risk and Controls Self-Assessment, BCBS239, Data Management Standards (Critical Data and Lineage), SoX, Issue Management, Finance / Liquidity related Policy and Standards definition.
- Experience or knowledge of unsecured funding and securitisation structures.
- Experience process around issuance of securities, ability to track different issuances made.
- Experience in managing senior stakeholder groups, representing in Forums such as Controls Forum, Regulatory Forum, Standards Forum, and Risk Committees.
- Experience in Programme Management.
- Experience in analytics and automation tools, and project / programme management.
