Introduction:
This roles includes preparation, supervision & review of the financial and management reporting
- The purpose of this role is to support in the preparation and analysis of financial management reporting for Country and Global Financials
- Liaison with various CFO Business partnering teams to understand the business drivers and prepare business commentaries for management packs
- This role is also to ensure the integrity and accuracy of management reporting, including ability to run key numbers from various tools/sources used across Barclays Group.

What will you be doing?
- The AVP will assist & be responsible in the delivery of the Country Reporting for APAC and EMEA region
- Active engagement with various CFO Business Partnering teams
- Responsible for timely and accurate submission of Country and Global Financials including KPI’s
- Partner with the Business to deliver insightful analysis and presentation materials for Senior Stakeholders
- Partner with on and offshore colleagues across functions and departments to identify and resolve issues
- Produce standard actual reporting/analysis and detailed commentaries
- Prepare Income/Cost allocation models, detailed walk analysis and trend reporting
- Maintain hierarchy and incorporate all changes as and when required
- Automate manual BAU processes to improve productivity where possible

What we’re looking for:

- CA and/or MBA, graduates with strong academic record and 10+ years’ experience in Accounting / Finance function.
- Excellent commentary writing skills
- Highly organised and with strong attention to detail
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Good communicator, both written and verbal
- Control mindset with an ability to develop and embed processes within the team
- Minimal supervisory oversight and able to perform duties with mínimal or no guidance
- Problem solver able to operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment and deliver solutions
- Knowledge of Barclays process flows from an operational and/or financial perspective is a bonus
