**Job description**

We are seeking a passionate female **Admission Counsellor** who will support our Admissions and Marketing team in driving attraction, recruitment and retention of students at Samashti International School, Coimbatore Branch.

**The Admission Counsellor will**:

- Act as first and continual point of contact for parents/guardians from enquiry through to the enrolment of new students at our school.
- Organize and conduct visits for prospective parents, ensuring the maintenance of high quality customer care at all times.
- Follow best practice Admissions procedure and engage on-going development and training.
- Record and report accurate and timely information on computerized Management Information System (MIS).
- Effectively participate in initiatives to drive student recruitment and enrolment opportunities.
- Provide information and advice to applicants on Admissions from first enquiry through to enrolment.
- Cascade information in a timely manner about students to colleagues, including Academic team, Finance, Bus Coordinator, Catering Manager and School Nurse.
- Liaise closely with Teachers, School Leadership Team and Admin staff with regards to the smooth transition/induction of new families, and support arrangements for new starters.
- Be taking a client service role, be customer focused and ‘front of house’ and represent the school to potential or existing parents, their representatives.
- Respond rapidly to drop-in requests for visits.
- Follow school admissions standardized procedure, policies and contribute to the effective development of best practice in terms of operation and delivery.
- Keep up to date with market intelligence and report on the competitor landscape.
- Ensure all Admissions meeting areas and tour routes are delivering a high-quality experience.
- Maintain records to report effectively with the School Leadership Team for each enquiry and record timely follow-up actions.
- Assist in producing reports as required.
- Develop parent liaison and relationships ensuring that word of mouth comments are positive.
- Provide focused and high quality of customer care at all times.
- Support school orientation events at each new term.
- Attend events in malls, housing socities, school fairs to recruit new students.

**Pre-requisites**:

- 1-2 years relevant experience in schools/preschools
- Excellent verbal & written communication

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
