**BASIC FUNCTION (JOB SUMMARY)**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Act as the first point of contact for parents and provide detailed information about the School programs, facilities, and policies.
- Conduct school tours and facilitate admissions meetings with parents.
- Coordinate with the school administration team to track admission targets and maintain accurate admission records.
- Assist parents with fee-related queries and payment processes.
- Organize and participate in promotional events, open houses, and workshops to attract potential families.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure a competitive edge.
- Call and schedule meetings with prospective parents.
- Effective presentation of school to parents, so as to help them take decision on admission.
- Follow-up with parents and convert the lead into admissions.
- Nurture the relationship with parents and assist transition of child into school.

**Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 2 years of proven experience in admission counselling or customer service (experience in early education is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
- Ability to understand the needs of parents and good convincing skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and empathetic personality.

**INSTITUTIONAL PROFILE**

‘Basil Woods’ is an early learning initiative of National Institute of Value Education (NIVE) to inculcate universal values and ethics along with imparting physical/cognitive learning in the formative years of early childhood development. Basil Woods currently runs four - K12 schools and ten preschools across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bhubaneshwar in India.

NIVE focuses on imparting value education and life skills to students of all ages. The founding team of NIVE includes the trustees of Akshaya Patra, which is the world’s largest NGO-run mid-day meal program catering to over 1.7 million schoolchildren in 11 states of the country.
