**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Network Design and Implementation**:

- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's local and wide area networks.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and network protocols to meet business requirements.
- **Network Security**:

- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and security breaches.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
- **Troubleshooting and Support**:

- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for network-related issues.
- Investigate and resolve network incidents, working closely with end-users and other IT teams.
- **Network Optimization**:

- Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency and reliability.
- Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to ensure optimal network operation.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Update documentation regularly to reflect changes in the network environment.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other IT teams, including system administrators and security professionals, to ensure seamless integration of network systems with overall IT infrastructure.
- **Upgrades and Maintenance**:

- Plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance activities during scheduled maintenance windows.
- Ensure mínimal disruption to business operations during upgrades and maintenance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- X years of experience in network administration.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and network management tools.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and solutions.
- Knowledge of network virtualization technologies.
- Experience with wireless networking technologies.
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
