**Brief Job Description**:

- Configuration of servers, operating systems administration, hardening, load balancers, firewall including but not limited to management of users, processes, resource contention, preventive maintenance and management of updates & patches to ensure that the system is properly updated
- Periodic health check of the systems, troubleshooting problems, analyzing and implementing rectification measures
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Manage network servers and technology tools, Set up accounts and workstations
- Troubleshoot issues and outages, Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Managing and Maintaining the Servers, PCs, Routers, and Switches
- Configuring, Managing, and Maintaining Networking Equipment
- Network processing centralized and distributive network connection
- Installing, configuring, and administering network technologies
- Switches Basic Configuration and VLAN setup on Cisco 1900, 2950, and 2960 switches
- Networking - Expertise in TCP/IP, switching/routing, subnetting, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, load balancing, proxy, etc
- Scripting - Writing scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl etc. to automate tasks and boost efficiency
- Virtualization - Expertise in VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Docker to deploy and manage virtual machines and containers
- Cloud platforms - Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP to manage infrastructure on public cloud
- Backup & recovery - Implementing backups, snapshots, replication, and restores to ensure business continuity
- 8-10 years of experience in Server and Network administration
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE, CentOS, VMware, AWS, Azure DevOps CICD for release management
- LDAP/ AD Management.
- DNS, DHCP Management.
- SAN, NAS Management.
- Exposure on State Data Center / National Datacenter / AWS / Azure or other Cloud operations.
- UAT and production Server maintenance
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
- MCSE, CCNA, AWS & Red Hat Certified Engineer Certification will be preferred
- Any graduate (preferable)
- Switches Basic Configuration and VLAN setup on Cisco 1900, 2950, and 2960 switches
