**Job Title**: Accounts Executive
**Department**: Finance & Accounts
**Reports To**: Accounts Manager/Finance Manager

**Job Overview**

The Accounts Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, managing account operations, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining effective financial control systems. They work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounts Management**:

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and invoicing.
- **Banking and Cash Flow Management**:

- Monitor company bank accounts, perform bank reconciliations, and manage cash flow requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and follow-up on financial transactions with banks and financial institutions.
- **Invoicing and Billing**:

- Generate, verify, and issue invoices to clients.
- Monitor and ensure timely payments from clients, and handle client account inquiries.
- Track receivables, follow up on outstanding invoices, and resolve any billing disputes.
- **Tax and Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and prepare documentation for tax filings (GST, VAT, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation of statutory and compliance reports, including tax returns and audits.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in preparing detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct variance analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Support the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and suggestions for financial optimization.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
- **Internal Controls**:

- Ensure effective internal controls are in place and maintain accurate documentation for all financial activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to financial transactions and operations.
- **Client and Stakeholder Relations**:

- Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and inquiries related to accounts and financial transactions.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage but not always required.
- **Experience**:

- 2-4 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Oracle) is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and clients.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
