Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
The role is to support the Operations Team at the centre of a leading edge audit function. The main purpose is defined below but this role will require a degree of flexibility in line with operational demands.
- Support for the VP and Operations Management Team in relation to General Business Management. This will include monitoring of business performance and providing commentary for governance reports.
- Delivery of key operations deliverables (including procurement, vendor management, service management, etc.).
- MI management for committee and stakeholder reporting.
- Coordinate BIA’s workforce management processes and monitor workforce movements against plan and target
- Coordinate the production of monthly business review reports and board reports
- Supporting the development of other team members through coaching.

What will you be doing?
- Develop and monitor the function’s compliance with relevant processes and policies
- Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets
- Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
- Lead in incorporating updates to Service Agreements as required and providing updates on service performance to all relevant stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

- Advanced skills in the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint in particular).'¯
- Ability not only to understand the data, but be able to provide insights and analysis through clear visual, written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work as part of a team, and be able to operate across a range of BIA areas and be able to adapt personal style to suit a range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Suitable applicant must have a Bachelor degree qualification, in any discipline.

Skills that will help you in the role:
The role involves strong project management orientations - able to plan and organize tasks, keep stakeholders on track, analyze datasets.
- Experience of working in a central team for a Control Function (Audit, Risk, Compliance etc.)
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Control for a matrix structured organisation within Financial Services.
- Innovative and self-motivated, with the ability to deliver quality results with a challenging but positive and influential style.
- Demonstrate a logical and structured approach to achieving desired outcomes along with excellent written and oral communication with ability to communicate across all levels.
