1. Fluency in Tamil is mandatory. Minimum Qualification should be SSLC. Prior experience is preferable but not mandatory.
2. Supervise, Monitor and ensure all children's safety while they are at the CCI. Also ensure contact with parent / guardian when the child is in their temporary custody to ascertain child's safety.
3. Participate in the admission process of the child to the CCI- collect the documents for CWC, DCPU, Prem Vihar Admissions, collect the child's Aadhar, Bank, past educational records and settle the child into the CCI with appropriate measures.
4. Participate in the school’s admission process for each CCI child.
5. Serve the children food daily for all meals - give the food number to the catering vendor in case of change, attend the food committee meetings and highlight and solve food related issues at the CCI.
6. Highlight the child's behaviour issues to the counsellors - monitor changes.
7. Ensure children attend all the volunteer training and tutors study classes at the CCI. Maintain rapport with the volunteer organisations and tutors and all adults who come into contact with the child.
8. Take care of the child's health, with the assistance of the nursing team and take the child to hospitals in a timely manner, based on the nurse's advice.
9. Discuss the child issues with parents and maintain contact and rapport with parents.
10. Participate in picnics, outings arranged for the children and engage the children in some recreational activity when possible.
11. Ensure hygiene and neatness in the child's attire, clothing and in their living areas such as dormitories and dining areas.
