Key Responsibilities:

- IVI System Testing: Perform validation of In-Vehicle Infotainment systems, ensuring that software and hardware components meet specified requirements. This includes conducting thorough testing of the IVI system's features, functionality, and performance to ensure optimal user experience.
- Test Case Development: Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and validation plans based on functional and non-functional requirements. This involves analyzing system requirements, designing test scenarios, and executing test cases to validate the IVI system's compliance with specifications.
- Issue Tracking and Resolution: Identify, document, and track issues or defects using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate with development teams for timely resolution, providing detailed bug reports and assisting in debugging efforts.
- Hardware-Software Integration Testing: Validate the interaction between software and hardware components within the IVI system, ensuring seamless functionality. This includes verifying the compatibility and integration of various hardware and software modules, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the integration process.
- System Performance Testing: Validate system performance under different conditions, including stress testing and benchmarking. This involves assessing the IVI system's responsiveness, stability, and resource utilization to ensure optimal performance in real-world scenarios.
- Compliance Testing: Ensure the IVI systems meet industry standards, regulations, and OEM requirements for safety, performance, and reliability. This includes conducting compliance tests to validate the IVI system's adherence to relevant automotive standards and regulations.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. This involves actively participating in meetings, providing technical insights, and collaborating with team members to address challenges and achieve project goals.

**Documentation**: Prepare and maintain comprehensive validation reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This includes documenting test results, creating technical reports, and updating project documentation to ensure traceability and knowledge transfer.

**Work Experience**Minimum Requirements**:

- At least 10 to 15 years of experience in automotive IVI validation, testing, or related positions.
- Thorough understanding of IVI systems, including navigation, audio, video, and connectivity functionalities.
- Proficient in utilizing testing tools and frameworks like CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar software.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet, etc.
- Experience in system validation within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic standards and validation procedures.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers in the automotive industry.
