Chromepet Chennai Tamil Nadu, India Vijay Dairy & Farm Products (P) Ltd Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily logistics operations including transportation, and distribution activities to ensure efficient delivery of dairy products.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure adequate stock levels of dairy products to meet customer demand.
- Plan and schedule transportation routes for delivery trucks to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times.
- Oversee the maintenance and servicing of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition for safe and reliable transportation of dairy products.
- Train and supervise logistics staff, including drivers, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to resolve any logistics-related issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and incorporate them into the company's operations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in the dairy industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems for tracking inventory, shipments, and transportation routes.
- Solid understanding of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
