Logistics Coordinator

**Role : Logistics and warehouse supervisor**

**Location: Ayapakkam, Chennai**

**Salary: 17,000 per month**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Household Shifting**:

- Pack, load, and transport household goods, ensuring safe handling and delivery.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as necessary.
- Ensure the proper use of protective materials like bubble wrap, moving blankets, and boxes to prevent damage to items.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure all shifting requirements are met and timelines are adhered to

**Machine Packing & Transport**:

- Safely pack and load machinery and equipment for transportation.
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery when necessary, ensuring all components are properly secured and protected during the move.
- Handle machinery with care, ensuring all safety measures are followed during packing and transportation.

**Warehouse Operations & Logistics**:

- Organize and manage the warehouse, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of household goods and machinery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all items stored and transported.
- Assist in unloading and organizing items upon arrival at the warehouse or the destination.
- Track shipments, manage logistics, and ensure on-time deliveries.

**Logistics Coordination**:

- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate the movement of goods from one location to another.
- Monitor the transportation schedule and ensure timely and safe delivery.
- Ensure compliance with transportation safety regulations and company protocols.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipping status and resolve any issues that may arise.

**Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Ensure that goods are packed and delivered according to customer specifications.

**Team Collaboration & Safety**:

- Work as part of a team to complete moving, packing, and logistics tasks efficiently.
- Follow health and safety regulations during all phases of the moving, packing, and warehouse operations.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.

**Administrative Support**:

- Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory lists, shipping details, and work orders.
- Assist in tracking any damages, claims, or discrepancies during the shifting or packing process.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**: Minimum 1 year of experience in household shifting, packing, machine packing, logistics, or warehouse operations.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of proper packing techniques for household goods and machinery.
- Experience with logistics management, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to work with clients and colleagues.

**Physical Requirements**: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy or bulky items, and working in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a logistics company, moving company, or warehouse.
- Familiarity with packing and moving specialized machinery.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings when necessary.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in logistics and warehouse settings.

Pay: Up to ₹17,000.00 per month
