**Handles the transportation and timely delivery of materials to the project site. This role ensures that all supplies are available when required, avoiding delays in project timelines**.

1. **Coordination of Shipments and Deliveries**
- **Organize and Track Shipments**: Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to arrange transportation.
- **Schedule Deliveries and Pickups**: Ensure timely delivery of products to customers or other facilities.
- **Monitor Inventory Levels**: Keep track of inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock.

2. **Inventory Management**
- **Track Stock Levels**: Work closely with the warehouse team to manage inventory.
- **Plan Reorders**: Place orders when stock levels fall below predetermined levels.
- **Inventory Audits**: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and availability.

3. **Communication and Collaboration**
- **Liaise with Suppliers and Customers**: Maintain communication with suppliers, vendors, and customers to manage expectations and resolve issues.
- **Coordinate Across Departments**: Work closely with sales, customer service, warehouse, and production teams to ensure aligned logistics operations.

4. **Documentation and Compliance**
- **Manage Shipping Documents**: Handle bills of lading, invoices, customs documents, and other required paperwork.
- **Compliance and Regulations**: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, such as customs regulations, safety, and environmental policies.

5. **Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution**
- **Resolve Delays and Emergencies**: Quickly address issues like delivery delays, damaged goods, or shipment errors.
- **Optimize Routes and Schedules**: Identify more efficient transportation options to save time and reduce costs.

6. **Data and Reporting**
- **Track Metrics and KPIs**: Monitor key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and inventory turnover.
- **Generate Reports**: Provide management with detailed reports on shipment statuses, delivery timelines, and other logistics metrics.

7. **Cost Management**
- **Negotiate Shipping Rates**: Work with carriers to secure favorable rates.
- **Analyze Costs**: Regularly evaluate and optimize logistics expenses to support budget goals.

These responsibilities can vary depending on the specific needs of the company, industry, and size of the logistics operation. Logistics coordinators are critical in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across the supply chain.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
