VES is looking for a Financial Controller to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person will be responsible to oversees the financials (Income Statement, Balance sheet, Cashflow and Net Working Capital) and internal controls of the legal entities based in India. Analyzes results from region performance booked in Downhole Products Limited. Follows company safety policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervises, supports and trains finance and admin staff in performing regular (and non-regular) accounting activities to streamline the finance function for India.
- Ensures intercompany balances tie each month for India legal entities.
- Analyzes manufacturing activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine country / region progress toward stated goals and objectives.
- Works closely with operations and other support functions to ensure internal controls and limits of authority are adhered to.
- Manages external audits and ensures YE closing balance sheet is fully reconciled with schedules prepared in advance of audit review.
- Ensures that BPC is updated with required monthly schedules for allocated entities.
- Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field. CA qualification preferred.
- 12-15 years of progressively more responsible accounting experience.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting procedures and standards.
- Good communication skills
- Extensive background in Excel, ERP and EPM systems.
