
Call Center Executive

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Answering Inbound Calls**:Handle incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Provide information about pathology services, test procedures, and results with accuracy.
**Appointment Scheduling**:Assist callers in scheduling appointments for specimen collection and testing.
Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient appointment scheduling.
**Customer Service**:Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a courteous and timely manner.
Provide support to patients and healthcare providers regarding test requisitions and result inquiries.
**Data Entry and Record Keeping**:Accurately enter and update patient information in the laboratory information system.
Maintain detailed and organized records of communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
**Collaboration with Laboratory Staff**:Communicate effectively with laboratory technicians, pathologists, and other internal departments.
Relay relevant information regarding specimen collection and testing requirements.
**Quality Assurance**:Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
Monitor and maintain call center performance metrics to uphold service standards.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pathology services is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry.
