Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Calicut, Kerala - Head Office

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

We are hiring for a leading Broadcasting/Media News company with a strong presence

in Kerala. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality news content and engaging

broadcasts to our diverse audience. As they continue to expand and innovate, they are

seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the

leadership team.

Role Overview: The COO will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and

strategic initiatives across various functions within the organization. Reporting directly

to the CEO, the COO will lead the Operations Team, encompassing HR, Admin,

will need to strike a balance between being dynamic and aggressive in achieving

operational goals while maintaining a high level of empathy and understanding in their

leadership approach.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:

- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance overall

efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination between

different departments.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the

operations team.

2. Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals in HR, Admin,

Operations, Corporate Affairs, and Corporate Communication.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting

teamwork and individual growth.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to department heads to align their

efforts with organizational goals.

3. Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with the CEO and other executives in developing and

executing the company's overall strategic plan.
- Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and improvement in

operational processes.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external

stakeholders.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner during

interactions with partners, clients, and regulatory bodies.

5. Corporate Affairs and Communication:

- Oversee corporate affairs and communication functions to ensure a

consistent and positive corporate image.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance internal and

external communication.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a senior leadership role

within a media/news organization.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and process improvements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Salary**: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Schedule:
