Role Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Salesforce Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Administrator at Ideagen, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform to support our business operations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer success teams, to ensure the effective utilization of Salesforce and drive user adoption.
**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce-related support and administration tasks.
- Manage user setup, profiles/permission sets, roles, and security settings, ensuring appropriate access and data integrity.
- Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business requirements, including creating custom objects, fields, page layouts, flows and validation rules.
- Perform regular data maintenance tasks, including data cleansing, deduplication, backups and data import/export.
- Conduct system audits and monitor data quality, addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, providing solutions and best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and workflows to support data-driven decision making and business processes.
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices, proactively suggesting system enhancements and improvements.
- Manage and support integrations between Salesforce and other business systems, troubleshooting and resolving any issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors and Salesforce support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure platform stability.
- Document processes, system configurations, and user guidelines, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a SaaS or technology-oriented organization.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator) is a minimum requirement. Advanced Administrator is desirable.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security principles.
- Proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks, including user setup, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security controls.
- Experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, page layouts, flows, and validation rules.
- Solid knowledge of data management and data quality best practices within Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation, enabling data-driven decision making.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
