**Role: Community** **Mobilizer**
**Location**: Thane, Bhiwandi, Pune & Mumbai

**Role Overview**:

- Organize mobilization drives and support community outreach work in designated clusters.
- Develop and implement outreach plans for youth mobilization throughout the project duration.
- Facilitate the onboarding of eligible youth onto the technology platform, ensuring proper documentary validation.
- Engage with youths to understand their aspirations, skill sets, and competencies, and support their end-to-end journey.

**Job Summary**:
The Community Mobilizer will work directly with community members to engage, motivate, and mobilize them to participate in social development programs. The mobilizer will play a crucial role in building relationships, identifying local needs, facilitating dialogue, and promoting sustainable community-led initiatives. The goal is to empower communities to actively contribute to and take ownership of development processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Community Engagement**:

- Conduct outreach to engage community members, local groups, and stakeholders. Build trust and establish strong relationships with the community.
- **Awareness Campaigns**:

- Organize and facilitate awareness campaigns
- **Needs Assessment**:

- Conduct surveys and focus group discussions to identify community needs, challenges, and priorities. Collaborate with the project team to implement community development programs, ensuring active participation of community members. Monitor and document the progress of community mobilization activities. Collect data on participation and outcomes to inform reports for stakeholders and funders. Promote long-term sustainability by helping communities identify and access resources to maintain development initiatives beyond the project timeline.
- Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW)
- 1-4 years of experience in community mobilization, grassroots work, or field experience in development projects.
- Strong understanding of community dynamics and local cultures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities.
- Fluency in local language preferred.
- Ability to travel frequently within the project area.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in implementing community-led initiatives.
- Experience working with marginalized or vulnerable populations.
- Basic computer skills and data collection tools.

**Work Conditions**:

- Regular field visits to communities in remote or underserved areas.
- May involve working outside of normal working hours to meet with community members

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
