Community Mobilizer / Community Influencing Officer

Responsibilities

Follow the Center Manager Guidance for mobilization and support the activity

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Contribute to design and implementation of outreach activities to provide inputs to outreach community

Keep the community updated about the project

Should a passion to connect with Unemployed Youth and help them in making a career choice

Identify beneficiaries as per the Project target

Providing one-on-one career guidance and skills assessment to assist with career development.

Helping students to prepare for admissions applications and tests

Identify marginalized groups in your center location

  • Economically deprived group
  • Women groups
  • Different abled student groups
  • Minority groups
  • Local government Authorities / Leaders
  • Religious leaders Traditional Leaders
  • Sector specific group leader (e.g. Microfinance group, Retail Vendor group, Transport union groups)
  • Health workers / medicine men
  • Special school head masters and teachers
  • etc

Engage the whole community

  • Media
  • People with Disabilities
  • Teachers
  • Community Groups
  • Social welfare officers
  • NGOs
  • Cultural leaders
  • Govt./Pvt Diploma, Degree, engineering and PG colleges

Community Meetings

  • Gathering people at one platform
  • Show successful Alumni videos
  • Bring SHG Groups together

Internal Mobilization

  • Develop a good list of Unemployed youth
  • To develop the ability to reach mobilization through Whats App, Bulk Sms, email, text messaging, Online Media (Facebook, Youtube, News channels) and websites and most importantly through face-to-face discussion.
  • Give press notes in Daily News Papers, Community Newspapers, TV networks, FM networks, Trade Publications (includes journals, newsletters), Internet news outlets, Bloggers, News wire service Associated Press, Reuters, Bloomberg.

Organize Exclusive Career Mela
