Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Perform tissue processing procedures including fixation, embedding, and microtomy.
- Prepare histological slides for staining and analysis.
- Conduct routine and special staining techniques (e.g., H&E staining, special stains) according to standard protocols.
- Operate and maintain histopathology equipment, including microtomes, tissue processors, and staining machines.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory supplies and reagents inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen processing, staining, and slide labeling.
- Perform quality control and quality assurance tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Assist pathologists and other laboratory staff in the preparation and analysis of histopathology slides.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols in the laboratory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated on new techniques and technologies in histopathology.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Histotechnology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Histopathology Lab Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of histology techniques and procedures.
- Experience with tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments used in histopathology.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
