We have Openings for **Restaurant Captain - Bandra, Mumbai.** - Greeting and welcoming guests when they enter. - Thanking guests and conveying gratitude while they are exiting. - Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards. - Able to answer any questions regarding menu, ingredients of a dish and assist with menu selections. - Serving food and beverages to guests, if required. - Record transaction / orders in Point of Sales systems software at the time of order. - Present accurate final bill to guest and process payment. - Timing different dishes effectively to maximise the dining experience. - Managing guest reservations and seating. - Set tables according to type of event and service standards. - Organising special events and parties. - Addressing any guests complaints or requests. - Collecting customer feedback for improvement. - Managing and training junior servers and staff. - Ensure guests are serviced within specified time. - Perform shift closing on the Point of sales terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements. - Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and product availability. - Responsible for clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area. - Inspecting and maintain hygiene and cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc. throughout the shift. - Reviews order dockets ensuring accurate and timely preparations for order requirements accordingly. - Ensures that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house areas. **Report to the**:Restaurant Manager **ESSENTIAL SKILLS**: **Customer service skills**:Knowledge of different cuisines | Pleasing personality | Problem-solving | Conflict management **Soft skills**:Communication | Strong memory | Attention to detail | Time management Multitasking **Leadership skills**:Interpersonal relationship building | Teamwork and collaboration | Mentoring | Feedback Job Requirements - At Least 2-3 years of Experience required. **Department**:Food, Beverage & Hospitality For any Information, Please contact**:MR.
