**Education**
- Education: Bachelor of Engineering in in Electrical & Electronics, Automobile, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or an equivalent qualification.

**Experience**
- 3 to 7 years of overall experience in automotive E/E hardware design, costing, and/or purchasing within an Automobile OEM or Automotive Ancillaries is essential with preference for experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) commodities.

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Proven knowledge of electrical and electronic hardware such as PCBs, display, switches, starter, alternator, motors, HV battery etc.
- Solid understanding of electrical schematics, PCB layouts, PCB components, ASICs, connector/harness interfaces and electrical distribution.
- Exposure to automotive networks and communication protocols (CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet, LIN), software architecture (AUTOSAR, cyber security, parsed, FuSA / Parsed, OTA).
- Good Technical knowledge on Manufacturing Processes SMT (Surface Mounting technology) & facility & tooling investments for assembly & EOL testing procedures etc.
- Familiarity with ED&T (Engineering Design & Testing), CAPEX (Capital Expenditure), Should Cost modelling, and tooling manufacturing costing is preferred.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal and Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proactive attitude, critical thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities skills, with collaborative mindset for cross-functional environments

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct competitive benchmarking analyses of vehicle electrical/electronic functions, architecture and components to identify design efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Perform cost analysis for vehicle software development based on the ESoW / fuctional requirements through software sizing methodologies.
- Lead Cost Gap Analysis and provide robust support to the Purchase function during supplier negotiations.
- Execute financial analysis (e.g., Payback, Business Case) for proposed localization and cost reduction initiatives, recommending their financial viability.
- Monitor and analyze piece price cost and investment changes impacting various Engineering Change (EC) proposals for both new and running programs
- Collaborate closely with Collaborating closely with Supply Chain and Product Development to evaluate and implement cost reduction actions.
