**Job Requirements
***Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures tailored to the needs of oil and gas operations.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Implement network security protocols and measures to safeguard sensitive data and comply with industry regulations.
- Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and field engineers to support connectivity for onshore and offshore operations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Plan and execute network upgrades and maintenance activities, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for equipment procurement, support, and network services.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network infrastructure management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), and experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience with cloud networking and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
