**Job Overview**:
Retail merchandisers in the fashion industry play a critical role in ensuring that products appear in the right store, at the right time, and in the correct quantities. They are responsible for product planning, procurement, and distribution to maximize sales and profits. This role involves a blend of analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Planning and Development**:

- Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to determine product selection.
- Plan and create seasonal merchandise strategies.

- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels and make decisions on reordering, discontinuation, and markdowns.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Optimize inventory turnover to minimize excess stock and reduce markdowns.

- **Sales Analysis and Forecasting**:

- Analyze sales data to identify bestsellers and underperforming products.
- Forecast future sales trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Prepare sales reports and present findings to management.

- **Pricing Strategy**:

- Set pricing strategies based on market analysis and company objectives.
- Implement promotional activities and markdown strategies.
- Monitor competitor pricing and adjust strategies accordingly.

- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with store managers to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans.
- Liaise with logistics and distribution teams to streamline product delivery processes.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
