**Job Summary**:
The Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating and assessing risks for corporate and retail insurance policies. The role requires expertise in risk analysis, policy pricing, and compliance while collaborating with clients and insurers to deliver optimal solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Risk Assessment**:

- Assess claims history, industry benchmarks, and client information to determine policy terms.
- **Policy Development**:

- Recommend coverage terms, exclusions, and premium pricing based on risk analysis.
- Prepare underwriting reports and documentation for decision-making.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**:

- Collaborate with sales teams and insurers to finalize policies and ensure smooth placement of risks.
- Build relationships with insurance companies for enhanced underwriting flexibility and special terms.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) regulations and internal compliance guidelines.
- Regularly review policies to mitigate potential liabilities.
- **Market Research**:

- Stay updated with industry trends, pricing strategies, and competitor analysis.
- Support product development for niche insurance solutions based on market demand.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in underwriting (preferred in an insurance broking firm).
- Proficiency in analyzing risk profiles and designing customized insurance packages.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and insurers.
- Certification in general insurance or relevant IRDAI qualifications is a plus.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
