This is a full-time on-site role for a Food Technologist located in Chandigarh. The Food Technologist will be responsible for conducting sensory evaluations, using laboratory skills to test products, implementing quality control measures, and leading research and development (R&D) efforts for product innovation.

Identify, monitor, and report on quality and composition of foods.

Optimize the taste and texture of a new or existing food product.

Plan food production procedures

Evaluate nutritional content, shelf life, cost, and manufacturability.

Test food, food additives, and food containers to ensure they comply with established safety standards

Assist with food research, development, and quality control.

Ensure food products are fit for distribution.

Work to create proper food packaging, including bottles and plastics.

Inspect foodstuffs, chemicals, and additives to determine whether they are safe and have the proper combination of ingredients.

Examine chemical and biological samples in order to identify cell structures, and to locate bacteria, or extraneous material, using microscope.

Perform tests (all tests related to nutritional value, like:

- fat, ash, protein, moisture etc) on component samples, identify any contamination, conduct an analysis and initiate corrective measures.

Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment.

**Salary**: Up to ₹27,000.00 per month
