**Job Title: Legal Associate**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting Legal Documents**: Prepare and review a wide range of legal documents including contracts, agreements, memos, and other legal correspondence.
- **Legal Advice**: Provide legal guidance and advice to internal teams on matters such as contract interpretation, compliance issues, and risk assessment.
- **Research**: Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to support legal decision-making and document drafting.
- **Contract Management**: Assist in the management of contract lifecycle including drafting, negotiation, execution, and maintenance of contracts.
- **Compliance Monitoring**: Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the organization's operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams including executives, finance, operations, and human resources to address legal issues and achieve business objectives.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and organized legal files and records, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- **Training and Education**: Conduct legal training sessions for staff members on relevant legal topics and updates as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; additional certification in Legal Practice is a plus.
- Proven experience working as a Legal Associate, Legal Assistant, or similar role, preferably in a corporate or legal firm environment.
- Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and other relevant legal areas.
- Excellent drafting and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research methods and resources.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle pressure situations with composure.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues across departments.
