The Role

Db2

deploying and maintaining DB2 database servers.
- Installing, configuring and administering/managing IBM DB2 LUW Servers
- Trouble shooting of DB2 LUW database and db2 clients.
- Performance tuning of DB2 servers.
- Work with Enterprise Architecture team and development teams for DB2 server and DB Server implementations.
- Performing Backups (online/offline/incremental) whenever needed.
- Troubleshooting database issues using db2diag, db2pd and db2top.
- Involved in analysis and resolving of DB2 Server Security Vulnerability.
- Raise DB2 PMR with product support and troubleshooting.
- Managing DB2 database servers primary and failover nodes on HACMP cluster
- Managing DB2 HADR cluster

Required Technical Skill Set
- IBM DB2 10.5, 11.1 database administration

Non-Technical Skill
- Excellent Communication (Written / Verbal), preferred languages English / Hindi / Marathi
- Very good team player
- Possess “Can do “attitude with positive mindset.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management
- VMware ESXi experience
- Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Automation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
- Vulnerability management
- On prem AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Microsoft Active Directory (AD) ,and/or Azure AD
