Introduction:
Support VP Business Manager in Publishing monthly results for the India Wealth Segment to the local/regional management. Includes report business performance using all financial levers i.e. Revenues, Costs, RWAs, ROE, AUM, NNAs with appropriate commentary highlighting the underlying drivers

What will you be doing?
- Publish RM wise client wise product level MIS to Wealth India leadership team
- Support COO with relevant Cost MI and work closely with the business in tight monitoring of costs, identify any cost slippages early in the cycle and identifying areas of improvement in overall cost management of the segment.
- To manage the Management Reporting database and ensure all global MI requests are responded in time and accurately
- Monitor and drive plans to achieve successful completion of critical daily and monthly processes per agreed deadlines and to agreed quality and standards
- Support VP in Establish clear business plans and performance measures monitoring execution and driving focus and accountability across the business.
- Provide suggestions and areas of improvement on existing process (manual processes) to help identify opportunities to streamline reporting process and drive efficiency of resource time.
- Support VP in Leverage and integrate the capabilities of resources across all levels of the firm to accomplish complex objectives
- Support VP in Embed a culture of regular reviews and performance management aligned to global Finance standards
- Risk and Control Objective - Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards
- Support VP in Writing ad-hoc presentations for delivery to senior visitors, project steering committees and functional leaders
- Engagement with wider finance teams and PB teams.

What we’re looking for:

- Adept at database management, Integrity of managing and holding on to financial results
- Delivery under pressure amidst tight deadlines.
- Information gathering skill using business and finance network
- Time management prioritization, Adaptability to changing reporting needs on a monthly basis
- Knowledge of Accounting Practices, Management Accounting Practices, Financial Analysis & Evaluation Developed communication and inter-personal skills.
- Possess basic knowledge of Company Law /Banking practice and regulations.
- Conversant with financial analysis tools, SAP general ledger.

Skills that will help you in the role:
CA/CFA with 7/8 years of experience in preparing management reporting and management profit and loss statement.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional/technical experience of 7/8 yrs +. Excellent understanding of financial concepts and in-depth clarity on accounting aspects primarily in the Indian Onshore Private Banking. Understanding of Private Banking business and existing exposure will be an advantage
- Knowledge of banking and securities reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in the use of interpersonal skills in building relationships with other teams and areas of the organisation. Experience in a strongly client focused environment.
