**Position summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable **Social Science Teacher**to educate students from **Grades VI to X**under the **CISCE curriculum**.

**Duties & responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics) for Classes 6 to 10 as per the CISCE curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments CISCE guidelines.
- Use innovative teaching methods including audio-visual aids, digital tools, and activity-basedlearning.
- Conduct periodic assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and promote a positive learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and training programs.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students’ academic progress and attendance.
- Encourage critical thinking, awareness of current affairs, and interest in social issues.

**Job requirements**:
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related discipline. 2. B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
3. Minimum 5-7 years of teaching experience in Social Sciences for Grades VI-X.
4. Strong command of English (both written and verbal).

5. Familiarity with modern teaching aids and digital platforms.
