**Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Delivery**: Design, develop, and deliver stimulating lessons in line with the IB Diploma Program geography curriculum for senior classes (11th and 12th grade).
Utilize innovative teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles and cultivate a deep appreciation for geography.

Infuse IB concepts, interdisciplinary connections, and critical thinking skills into lessons to encourage meaningful exploration of geographical topics.

**Student Engagement and Support**:Foster an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment that nurtures intellectual curiosity, active participation, and a passion for exploring the world.
Provide personalized support and guidance to students, facilitating their academic growth and personal development.

**Assessment and Progress Tracking**:Develop effective assessment strategies, including formative and summative evaluations, to accurately evaluate student comprehension and progress.
Offer constructive feedback to students, helping them identify areas of improvement and celebrating their achievements.

**Professional Development**:Stay current with the latest advancements, methodologies, and trends in geography education and the IB curriculum.
Participate in workshops, seminars, and professional networks to enhance instructional practices and contribute to the learning community.

**Collaboration**:Collaborate actively with fellow educators, department members, and school leadership to align teaching strategies, share best practices, and contribute to curriculum enhancement.

**Parent and Community Engagement**:Maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, accomplishments, and areas of focus.
Engage with the school community through events, meetings, and conferences to showcase student achievements and foster community connections.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's Degree in Geography or a closely related field.
- IB Certification (Diploma Programme) in Geography.
- Proven experience in teaching the IB Diploma Program geography curriculum to senior classes.
- Thorough understanding of IB educational philosophy, interdisciplinary connections, and global contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to create an interactive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to continuous professional growth and a genuine interest in supporting student development.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Additional certifications in education or specialized training related to geography education.
- Proficiency in integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
