Female Hostel Warden

As the Girls Hostel Warden at our Coaching Institute catering to +1 and +2 students, you will be responsible for creating a safe, comfortable, and conducive living environment for female students residing in the hostel. Your primary role is to ensure the well-being, discipline, and overall development of the students by fostering a nurturing atmosphere and promoting a positive living experience. You will be an essential point of contact for the students' needs and concerns while enforcing institute policies and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Student Welfare**: Monitor the well-being and day-to-day activities of female students living in the hostel. Provide emotional support, guidance, and mentorship to help them adjust to hostel life and cope with academic and personal challenges.

2. **Safety and Security**: Ensure a secure living environment within the hostel premises. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to prevent potential hazards and maintain safety standards.

3. **Discipline and Rules Enforcement**: Enforce hostel rules, institute guidelines, and curfew timings. Address any behavioral issues promptly and fairly, maintaining a structured and disciplined living environment.

4. **Attendance and Curfew Monitoring**: Maintain attendance records and track the movements of hostel students, particularly during curfew hours, to ensure their safety and adherence to institute guidelines.

5. **Health and Hygiene**: Oversee cleanliness and hygiene standards within the hostel. Coordinate with support staff to maintain a healthy and sanitary living space.

6. **Mediation and Conflict Resolution**: Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts among students, encouraging open communication and cooperation among residents.

7. **Student Activities**: Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, events, and outings to promote a sense of community and encourage students' overall development.

8. **Academic Support**: Collaborate with academic staff to identify students who require additional academic support and implement appropriate measures to assist them.

9. **Emergency Response**: Be prepared to handle emergencies or medical situations, providing immediate assistance and notifying appropriate authorities or parents as required.

10. **Parent Communication**: Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians regarding their wards' progress, behavior, and overall well-being.

11. **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain records related to student activities, incidents, and any significant developments within the hostel. Prepare periodic reports for institute management.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field. A background in education, psychology, or social work is advantageous.
- Previous experience in hostel management or working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and institute staff.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding to support and guide students during their stay at the hostel.
- Ability to enforce rules and maintain discipline while showing compassion and care towards students.
- Organizational skills to manage student activities and hostel operations efficiently.
- Basic medical knowledge and the ability to handle medical emergencies effectively.
- Proficiency in local languages and English is desirable.
- Flexibility to work during weekends and irregular hours as needed in a residential setting.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
