Job Description for Logistics Manager

Make monthly and weekly dispatch planning reports.

Coordination with the Plant (Planning Dept., Production Dept., QA Dept.) for smooth dispatch as per planning.

Coordination with Freight forwarder / CHA / Transporter for container and truck arrangement

Negotiating Freight rates / transportation rates / Customs charges

Ensure exports containers should get on time as per planning and should get-in within available time period - ensure no shut-outs / detention should get charge for any transactions

Responsible for Loading/Sealing Dispatching of Export Containers / Vehicles.

Follow the shipment with CHA operation staff, shipping company/forwarder up to handover the cargo

Doing regular follow up with Clients Nominated Freight Forwarders for Various Issues e.g. like stuffing Plan, Vessel schedule, B/L copy Etc.

Responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction.
