**Job Summary**:
The **Sampler - Quality (SIU)** is responsible for collecting, documenting, and preparing product or process samples in accordance with established quality standards and protocols. This role plays a key part in ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement. The position involves collaboration with Quality Assurance, Production, and SIU teams to identify, investigate, and resolve potential quality issues.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collect raw material, in-process, and finished product samples as per sampling procedures.
- Ensure samples are properly labeled, documented, and logged into quality systems.
- Follow protocols for chain-of-custody and secure transport to testing labs.
- Assist SIU with investigations involving quality anomalies or deviations.
- Maintain sampling tools, kits, and documentation in a clean and organized state.
- Perform visual inspections and basic tests (e.g. temperature, pH, weight) as required.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes (CAPA).
- Ensure all work is compliant with GMP, HACCP, ISO, or other relevant standards.
- Communicate effectively with production, quality, and SIU personnel.
- Participate in internal audits, training, and process improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of quality control principles and sampling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and follow strict procedures
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills

**Preferred**:

- Associate degree in science, quality, or a related field
- Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. food, pharma, manufacturing)
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems
- Prior experience in a quality assurance or laboratory role

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in production or lab environments
- May involve exposure to noise, odors, or temperature variations

**Work Environment**:

- Fast-paced and quality-focused manufacturing/processing facility
- Cross-functional interactions with Quality, Production, and Compliance teams
