**Job Summary**:
**We are seeking an experienced and technically sound Control Room Operator (CRO) to monitor and control the operations of a Ferro Alloys production unit (Silico Manganese / Ferro Manganese / Ferro Silicon). The CRO will ensure smooth and safe functioning of electric arc furnaces (SAF), raw material feed systems, and tapping operations by coordinating with field operators and shift teams.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Monitor real-time operations of the Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) and auxiliary systems through the control panel and SCADA systems.**:

- **Maintain optimal operating parameters for temperature, pressure, and feed rate to ensure quality and production targets.**:

- **Coordinate with field operators to ensure timely raw material feeding, furnace tapping, and slag removal.**:

- **Log operational parameters, alarms, and events as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).**:

- **Troubleshoot process issues and escalate abnormalities to the Shift In-charge / Maintenance teams.**:

- **Ensure adherence to safety norms, environmental guidelines, and plant SOPs.**:

- **Support in shift changeovers by updating logs, communicating instructions, and handing over smoothly.**:

- **Assist in breakdown handling, start-up, and shutdown procedures.**:

- **Report equipment failures, abnormalities, and process deviations.**

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Mechanical / Metallurgy / Process Engineering.**:

- **Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a CRO in a ferro alloys or steel manufacturing plant.**:

- **Hands-on experience with electric arc furnaces, SCADA / PLC-based control systems, and DCS operations.**:

- **Good understanding of process flows in Silico Manganese, Ferro Manganese, or Ferro Silicon production.**:

- **Familiarity with safety, environmental and operational procedures in heavy industry.**
