Scope:
Develop and design products, equipment, and tools to be able to produce product that meets high quality requirements and performance standards.

Analyses equipment specifications and process requirements to conceive a practical design.

To support the sales team and customers with engineering and specialized solutions measured in terms of sales pertaining to machine investments, special tools and total customer satisfaction as expressed in success factors by offering design & drawings of engineered specials to customers.

Support production team for feasibility and simplifying production processes.

Key Performance areas:

- Support the sales team and customers with engineering and specialized solutions measured in terms of sales pertaining to machine investments, special tools, and total customer satisfaction as expressed in success factors by offering design and drawings of engineered specials to customers.
- Evaluation of Enquiries in terms of complete information, business Strategy & feasibility.
- Should be able to make the best proposal drawing based on input given by stake holders by using AutoCAD or UG.
- Act as a role model/coach for sales engineers and distributor team in terms of right design for the tool.
- Responsible to create manufacturing design using NX by evaluation of enquiries in terms of complete information, business strategy, and feasibility.
- Ensure design quality and make designs are as per specific production unit requirement and cost effective to produce.
- Create 3D models and support for projects of specific requirements from sales team / customers.
- Main support & communication with Internal stake holders spread globally.

Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Have around 3 - 8 years of experience in metal cutting industry as Design Engineer.
- Knowledge of Design Tool Specially Auto CAD, NX (Essential)
- Good in Communication Skill.
- International mind set and ability to work in matrix organization.
- Ready to travel locally & overseas.
- Should be able to work in a team.
- Self-motivated and result oriented person.
- Strong Planning, organization and negotiation Skill.
- Strong Project Management Skill.

This position reports to Design Team Leader, Customized Solutions, Tools PU.
