We’re currently looking for a skilled and motivated SEO Intern or Associate to join our remote team.

**Role Overview**

As an SEO Intern/Associate at Marquex, you will work closely with our digital marketing team to improve our clients' search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and optimize content performance. This role is ideal for someone who already has at least one year of practical SEO experience and is eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a digital-first environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to shape SEO strategies.
- Optimize on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, header tags, and content.
- Assist in executing off-page SEO efforts such as link-building and outreach.
- Perform technical SEO audits and help resolve identified issues.
- Track SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
- Collaborate with writers and designers to align content with SEO goals.
- Monitor trends in SEO, Google algorithms, and best practices.
- Prepare performance reports and recommend actionable improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on SEO experience (internship, agency, or freelance work).
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, both on-page and off-page.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CMS platforms like WordPress, and technical SEO.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with blog writing or SEO-focused content creation.
- Exposure to local SEO and structured data/schema.
- Familiarity with other digital marketing channels like social media or paid ads.
