As a Firmware Tester you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of firmware for high-speed cable assemblies targeting data centers and wireless infrastructure. This role involves designing and executing firmware validation plans, developing automated test systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware. Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, expertise in automated testing frameworks (e.g., PYTEST)

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop comprehensive firmware validation plans.
- Establish testing requirements based on product spec and intended use of the product.
- Create, implement, and maintain test cases, focusing on both automated and manual testing.
- Design and execute automated test systems leveraging CI/CD pipelines and PYTEST framework.
- Perform regression testing to validate firmware updates and bug fixes.
- Debug issues by analyzing test logs and generate detail bug report.
- Track bugs based on resolution status using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with firmware development teams by providing actionable feedback and recommendations.

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering, master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in firmware validation and testing processes.
- Proficient in both manual and automated testing frameworks, particularly PYTEST, with strong Python programming skills.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and familiarity with ANSI C programming.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as GIT and Bitbucket.
- Hands-on experience with debugging firmware using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or serial debuggers.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting test data, identifying issues, and proposing effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Highly motivated, quick learner, and capable of working independently.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as 12C, SPI, UART, or USB for firmware communication.
