Test Planning and Execution

  • Creation of test plans and test case descriptions
  • Planning and setup of test environments
  • Execution of functional tests, regression tests, system tests, stress tests, and automated tests for embedded systems
  • Analysis and documentation of test results
  • Collaboration with developers to resolve issues
  • Maintenance of defect databases and test documentation
  • Contribution to the further development of test methods and tools

Team Collaboration

  • Participation in design and code reviews
  • Close coordination with development and quality assurance teams

Qualifications

  • Completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in testing firmware and application software
  • Familiarity with unit testing
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN)
  • Experience with tools such as Git/Bitbucket, TestRail, and Jira
  • Analytical thinking and structured working approach
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software testing

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with DevOps
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Experience with hardware testing tools (e.g., oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
