Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain coordination between the project team, external and internal stakeholders.
- Escalation point for infrastructure-related issues.
- Partner with product teams in requirements gathering, scope definition and feasibility assessment.
- Perform technical analysis of development requirements for the purpose of designing reusable and extensible solutions.
- Perform hands-on technical development: Design, Build, test and production implementation.
- Create/maintain development and support artifacts including design documents, technical specifications, etc.

Qualification, Knowledge & Experience:

- Should be able to do work planning, reporting to management and track progress against that plan.
- Understand multi-tiered architectures e.g. network, security and protocol communication between them in order to produce a connectivity matrix.
- Write high level & low level network designs.
- Excellent hands-on experience to build network in Cisco and Juniper environment from start to finish.
- Practical experience of network skills (mainly Cisco or Juniper) including switching L2/L3 (LAN), routing (WAN-BGP), configuring FWs (Palo Alto ideally) and understanding of load balancer functionality and capabilities, L4 # L7
- Good understanding of DNS, NTP and DHCP.
- Knowledge of container architectures, ingress controllers and network and security functionalities /capabilities used (ideal).
- Good understanding of network virtualization using VMware.
- Understanding of backup networks and solution (Veeam ideally but this is not necessary).
- Excellent knowledge of below skills in particular:
a) Cisco Routing and Switching
b) Juniper Routing
c) Automation # Python, Ansible and Terraform
d) MPLS Technology
e) Firewall Experience (Palo Alto preferred)
g) Cloud networking - Azure and AWS
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and spoken language.
