**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**: Develop and deliver a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum for social studies courses within the IB program, aligning with IB standards, objectives, and assessment criteria.
- **Instructional Delivery**: Implement innovative and inquiry-based teaching strategies to engage students in the exploration of social studies topics, including history, geography, civics, economics, and sociology.
- **IB Assessment Preparation**: Prepare students for IB assessments, including internal assessments, extended essays, and external examinations, through targeted instruction, exam practice, and feedback on student work.
- **Critical Thinking and Inquiry**: Foster critical thinking skills, research skills, and analytical skills among students, encouraging them to investigate complex social issues, evaluate multiple perspectives, and develop informed opinions.
- **Global Perspective**: Promote global awareness, intercultural understanding, and appreciation for diversity within the social studies curriculum, integrating international perspectives and real-world examples into classroom instruction.
- **Student Support**: Provide academic support and guidance to students, including individualized instruction, remediation, and enrichment activities as needed to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Teaching certification or licensure, with specialization in social studies education or IB certification preferred.
- Previous experience teaching social studies at the secondary level, preferably within an IB or international school setting.
- In-depth understanding of the IB curriculum framework, assessment model, and approaches to teaching and learning in social studies.
- Strong content knowledge and pedagogical expertise in social studies disciplines, including history, geography, civics, economics, and sociology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in meaningful dialogue, facilitate class discussions, and provide constructive feedback.
- Commitment to fostering inquiry-based learning, critical thinking skills, and global citizenship among students, while promoting the values and principles of the IB program.
- Dedication to ongoing professional growth and development, with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional learning communities, and pursue further training in IB

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
