**Responsibilities**:

- Design and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons in social studies, covering a range of topics such as history, geography, economics, politics, and anthropology, in accordance with the IB curriculum standards.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student inquiry, discussion, and reflection on local, national, and global issues.
- Integrate a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to engage students and support their understanding of key concepts and themes in social studies.
- Guide students in conducting independent research, analyzing primary and secondary sources, and developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work, assessments, and inquiries, and support students in setting and achieving academic goals.
- Promote intercultural understanding, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives and cultures through the study of social studies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects, service-learning opportunities, and experiential learning experiences.
- Participate in IB training and professional development activities to deepen understanding of the IB curriculum and pedagogy, and stay current with best practices in social studies education.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Anthropology, Political Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience teaching social studies at the IB level is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the IB framework, including the Middle Years Programme (MYP) or Diploma Programme (DP), and experience with IB assessment methods and criteria.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Passion for social studies education and a commitment to promoting global citizenship, sustainability, and social justice.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to support student learning and well-being.

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
