**About the Home Room Teacher role**

Ahmedabad International School is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic educator for IB Primary Year Program.

**Specific responsibilities**
- Creates and plans trans-disciplinary units of inquiry from which lessons are taught and supports this with written planning
- Develops and teaches a course of study according to the school’s grade-level scope and sequence
- Provides a stimulating learning atmosphere within the classroom
- Incorporates the Essential Elements of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) into inquiry-based, constructivist learning experiences within the classroom
- Collaborates with other teachers in planning on a regular basis.

**Preferred Qualifications/Skills**
- Ability to provide a dynamic and motivational environment to learners between the ages of 6 to 10 years
- Experience as an educator in Primary
- Experience as an IB PYP teacher is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
