**Roles and Responsibilities**

Legal role with Leading Microfinance OrganisationBroad Roles and ResponsibilitiesTo review and finalise Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Memorandum of
- Understanding (MoUs), service agreements, Master Service Agreements (MSAs),
- banking / lending agreements, Security documents, Debenture Trustee
- Agreements, etc.
- 2. Provide day-to-day legal advice to various departments, functions with regard to
- the business operations of the Company.
- 3. Reviewing of loan documents from lending and borrowing perspective.
- 4. Devising loan documents for various financial products of the Company.
- 5. Experience and knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines/circulars governing
- borrowing and lending transactions of banks/NBFCs.
- 6. Co-ordination with external legal counsel with regard to litigation matters
- involving customers, employees both past and present, vendors, service
- providers, etc., maintaining and updating legal MIS from time to time.
- 7. Develop “Legal Indicators”, legal register, update and review of legal management
- systems, procedures, policies (in line with legislative and regulatory requirements)
- within operational framework to ensure the escalation of significant legal issues
- to appropriate management levels.
- 8. Research & identify emerging legal practices that present new regulatory, fraud,
- or legal risk and update the management.
- 9. Coordinate the collection of legal information from source systems, departments,
- and reporting. Analyse the data and report. To take appropriate actions as may
- be necessary.Location:
