Subject Matter Expert

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert guidance and support in the adoption of organic farming practices, ensuring compliance with NPOP norms.
- Offer strategic insights into organic farming certification processes, facilitating efficient and effective procedures.
- Mentor and advise team members on best practices in organic farming, drawing from a minimum of five years of post-degree experience for Master’s degree holders, and ten years for Bachelor’s degree holders, with specific emphasis on organic farming and certification processes.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Grower Group Certification Systems and Internal Control Systems, contributing to the development and implementation of these systems as needed.
- Manage documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the agriculture and allied sectors, leveraging expertise to enhance organic farming adoption initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to organic farming, incorporating relevant insights into project strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Biological Sciences, or Business Administration with a specialization in AgriBusiness Management.
- Minimum five years of post-degree experience for Master’s degree holders, with at least three years dedicated to organic farming and its certification process as per NPOP norms. For Bachelor’s degree holders, a minimum of ten years’ post-degree experience, with five years in organic farming and certification processes.
- Experience in agriculture and allied sectors, with a strong understanding of organic product marketing.
- Familiarity with Grower Group Certification Systems, Internal Control Systems, and proficiency in documentation for audits.
- Age of the applicant should not exceed 55 years as of 31st May 2019.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
