**Job description**
Ø To take the appointment of the patients and update in the Mylab software.
Ø To inform the consultant one day prior or on the same day in morning about the total number of consultations.
Ø To check all the OPD rooms for cleaning & dusting done
Ø To greet the person approaching the Doctor/Patient/ Relatives front desk for assistance.
Ø To keep the patient appointments for the day in the consultation rooms
Ø To register every patient coming for the first time and collect the consultation fee, as per the policy defined and charges agreed by the management.
Ø To enter the patient record for OPD patient and allot available room
Ø To address any billing related queries of patients
Ø To collect the fees for OPD patients including any laboratory tests, radiology scan/tests
Ø To ensure that the fee collected is handed over to accountant on daily basis at end of the day/shift.
Ø Ensure all charges have been correctly captured and allocated to the patient’s account prior to printing bills
Ø Enter cash receipts if needed and assure correct allocations, distribution in accordance with the established protocol.
Ø Maintains contacts with other departments to obtain and analyze additional patient information to document and process billings.
Ø Auditing the total receipts generated against total bills prepared on daily basis.
Ø To collect all the reports and reference letter of the patient and handover to consultant.
Ø To prepare and arrange the reports in the patients file & send it in the consulting room.
Ø In case of radiology/pathology investigations, communicate with the concerned department
Ø To fill up the Credit Billing form for if any credit billing done for any patient and signature of concerned authority taken.
Ø In case of any discount informed by consultant or management authority then complete all the formalities as per our policy and take signature of concerned authority.
Ø To train the newly joined staff on reception department. & prepare a document on list of topics to be covered in training, which needs to be documented and to be sent to HOD with signature of Trainer and Trainee.
Ø To be updated about the policies of the Clinic.
Ø To follow instructions given by HOD or any Core Committee member of the Clinic
Ø To inform HOD in case any problem.
Ø To attend patient calls & maintain enquiry register
Ø Maintain all clinic registers
Ø To call patients as part of patient follow up from clinic & propose package / vaccines as decided as management
Ø To call patients and remind regarding follow ups & vaccinations
Ø To maintain vaccine stocks & dead stock / or non pathology stock and infirm management on the same in writing
Ø To inform HR & senior management regarding any problem with dead stock and mismanagements whatsoever
Ø To take patients reviews on daily basis
Ø To maintain decorum and discipline in reception
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
