Responsibilities & Accountabilities Analysing Attendance / Absenteeism Making alternate arrangements to achieve the target Coordinate with moulding and planning to improve metal productivity and reduce power consumption. Control and monitoring of pouring activities. Monitoring all incoming raw materials for control of rejection and production improvement. Follow up with Laboratory to get spectrometer results to improve casting quality. Maintaining ISO and EMS/OHSAS records Follow up with Laboratory to get Mechanical properties to ensure delivery of quality castings. Monitor sequence of furnace charge material and improve productivity. Attending department CFT meeting and taking corrective actions to avoid melting related rejections. Following Calibration status of measuring device. Monitoring pouring ladle for control of melting rejection and production improvement. Awareness created for all workmen with respect to Production,Quality,Cost,safety and Delivery. Multi skill training to New Operators Planning Furnace and Ladle Relining Compact charge materials for molten metal preparation to reduce energy consumption Coordinate with moulding to minimize no metal time in Moulding line and avoid metal holding in furnace and improving productivity.
